Discover the Cosmos

http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.htmlThere aren't enough hours in the day to fully explore NASA's Astronomy Pic of the Day. The pictures are amazing and the explanations are short and understandable. Seeing these images reproduced on television and in the newspaper every so often is one thing, to see them in hi-res on you computer monitor is quite another. Seeing them this way, out of the context of conventional mass media, makes them seem more 'real' somehow. It's also interesting to look back at the archive (which dates back to 1995!). As you go further back in time you can literally see the advances we've in space exploration.
