How cheerfully — and erroneously — this parking garage kiosk sends me on my way. And with three jaunty exclamation points!!! The centered exclamation point is so large I almost mistake it for an error message.

So does enthusiasm alleviate the error? Well, it certainly helps. As errors go, this one is easy to correct — just a simple programming change in the front office.

I hesitate in the exit lane and consider finding an attendant and letting him know about the missing -ly. 

I decide against it and drive away.
