Holy Onomatopoeia Batman!
Found this collection of onomatopoeia title cards from the old Batman episodes, and an accompanying index of their use in each episode, via Coudal. I love how these words became a big part of the Batman brand. The hand rendered type is really cool and I predict it won't be long before these start showing up on novelty T-shirts, if they haven't already (explanation here).
